Monthly Update #1

Hello, everyone, and my apologies for the lack of updates.

It seems like there really isn't too many interesting things for me to report on a week-to-week basis, so I've changed the weekly updates to monthly updates.

These past few weeks I've been stuck on some rather serious very plot-heavy scenes that are, frankly, not too pleasant to translate, so I have been just chipping away at them bit by bit.

I know many of you are eagerly anticipating the release, and that's actually another reason why I'm reluctant to post numbers: every time I do post them, I feel like I haven't put in enough effort into translating since last time. I hope you will understand.

Thank you all for your continuing support!

It sure takes very much time and effort to make something big like this. Take your time and keep up your work ;)

  3. We completely understand. Don't worry about it. As long as we know the project hasn't been abandoned.

  4. Hey, as long as there is progress, and you are still breathing, I am content. Keep on fighting the good fight mate!

  5. Trust me, its more than comforting enough to know that someone is actually translating this, never mind the progress...

  18. Hey, first of all, thanks for the translation.
I have one question: On mirrormoon.org, they upgrade their patch and upload it to their site for popular download. But, why did you do that. sorry about my rudeness, but I can't wait for the completion of the F/HA patch...

  19. Please....Do it faster and faster as you can.I can't wait for it.....

  21. Ah, not having any sort of Completion Indicator is nervewracking but I can understand why you wouldn't want that sort of thing.

Just keep having fun translating F/HA! I'l be hoping to playing it soon. =P

  22. Auuuu~! I just hope you finish this translation project, no matter how long it takes! The point of the matter is that you should translate it when you're in the mood. Don't force yourself on anything.

I thoroughly appreciate your work. I'll be waiting for the next update~!

  23. if you can find someone from other visual novel translation groups to help you, then it would have been faster, I mean working alone will really feel overwhelmed.

  24. weeee! ty so much for the effort, the thought of it is making me come XD!... keep it up man! i love you for translating F/HA!

  25. Was kinda hoping it would be done before Christmas this year... Oh well, at least something is being done.

Keep up the good work mate~

Also, any idea where to get the Korean patch from? Being a Korean, I don't really need an English patch (but then, my Korean ain't too flash...)

    Cheers

If you read the other posts, i'm pretty sure he addressed that issue multiple times, and if what i read is correct, he'd rather do it himself to keep up the consistency for the translation, and also i think it puts less pressure on him, as it's only himself with no time limit set.

  28. I'd contribute, too. I mean, it's a work of charity, so why not be charitable? And if you're not posting because you haven't made enough progress, keep in mind most of us would rather you tell us "Sorry, didn't accomplish much this week" than agonizing silence. At least posting regularly lets us know you're alive, right?

  29. Hello, amukunau. It's great to know that someone is translating the Fate fandisk. Not to sound pushy or anything, but back in May, when you said:

"Summer break is here for me, so I can devote a constant amount of time each day to translating. I have high hopes of getting the project completed in the not-too-distant future."

What exactly did you mean by "not-too-distant future"? As in, what kind of time period?

Just curious, that's all. Keep going, we're all rooting for you!

  30. As long as you're actually translating it - takie as much time as you need. I know quie a lot of people who also have hope in you.
I found myself, that even though I know that you haven't posted anything new here, I'm coming here regular once a day ^_^'

    Keep it going :)

    Regards.
